Ubbelohde viscometer: Precision in viscosity measurement

Ubbelohde viscometers are available in different versions, which are described in ISO 3105. Xylem manufactures SI Analytics® brand viscometers according to DIN 53000-1 and ASTM D445, including micro Ubbelohde viscometers for small sample volumes and special designs such as TC viscometers for automatic thermoelectric detection. These viscometers are named after Leo Ubbelohde, who applied for a patent for this type of viscometer in 1932. more
