Flow Scout (Surfbee P/N: SFSCII)
This versatile vessel is designed for shallower waters down to 14cm depth. It has three underwater thrusters with maximum speed of 1.8m/s, 0.8m/s lateral (sideways). Challenging conditions like windy areas or slow-moving channels, is not a problem for this vessel. It ensures ensuring reliable performance and precise data collection. The Surfbee App running on the handheld transmitter allows for advanced maneuvers and features an on-board camera. The Flow Scout is an excellent tool in both moving boat and Stationary measurements.

Designed for High Reliability
The Flow Scout USV combines rugged performance with superior handling for your SonTek M9 and RS5 ADCP discharge and bathymetry measurements. It also handles Custom Payload as well as RDI RiverPro. It has a top speed of 1.8m/s and moves seamlessly both forward and sideways and adjusts to changing conditions without user intervention. The result is straight cross sectional lines easily collected by setting waypoints and allowing the vessel to take care of navigation.
Advanced and Precise Boat Control
Take advantage of GPS autonomous gauging, allowing the Hydrographer to concentrate on the data not the deployment. Whether it is moving boat or stationary ADCP measurements using the SonTek M9 and RS5 ADCP, the Flow Scout USV allows for waypoint and boat speed setting through the Surfbee App running on the Handheld Transmitter colour screen ensuring reliable and consistent measurements.
Safer and Improved Workflows
The Flow Scout USV presents field measurement teams with a safer way to conduct their work, however it also adds key functionality that improves ADCP data collection technique and thus data quality.
Flexible setting options
Both Differential Corrections and RTK GNSS options are offered with shared position data outputs between the USV and ADCP allowing for simplified and streamlined work flows. The Flow Scout hull can be used with its onboard GNSS solution for manual towed measurements, alternatively install the thrusters for an unparalleled USV experience.
