    Surfbee Flow Seeker

The Flow Seeker is the workhorse among the unmanned surface vehicles (USV) and was specially developed for measurements with the SonTek M9 and RS5 ADCP. It is maneuverable, portable and capable of operating in faster currents at a maximum speed of 4 m/s. The USV is equipped with the Surfbee app, which runs on the handheld transmitter and offers advanced features such as streaming camera images, autonomous boat measurements while underway and stationary measurements without a measuring line.

    Product features:

    • Powerful performance (maximum speed of 4 m/s)
    • Lightweight design (15 kg including batteries)
    • Long-range transmitter with dust and splash water protection (range 1 km)
    • ADCP Surfbee app with specific functions for ADCP measurements
    • Robust, inflatable housing for easy transportation and space-saving storage
    • Autonomous bathymetry measurements and mission planning via the transmitter app

    Designed for precise reliability

The Flow Seeker USV combines robust performance with excellent handling for your SonTek M9 and RS5 ADCP flow and bathymetry measurements. With a top speed of 4 m/s, the Flow Seeker expands the range of applications for survey teams. Redundant control by the deck-mounted fan provides additional safety and ensures that the USV can handle any situation.

    Advanced and precise control

Use GPS-supported, autonomous measurements so that the hydrographer can concentrate on data acquisition rather than deployment. Whether taking measurements on the move or stationary ADCP measurements with the SonTek M9 and RS5 ADCP, the Flow Seeker USV allows you to set waypoints and boat speed via the Surfbee app on the handheld transmitter's color screen, ensuring reliable and consistent measurements.

    Safer and optimized workflows

The Flow Seeker USV provides survey teams with a safer way to carry out their work, while bringing additional features that enhance ADCP data collection techniques to improve data quality.

    Flexible setting options

Both differential corrections and RTK-GNSS options are offered, with position data shared between the USV and ADCP, simplifying and optimizing workflows. The Flow Seeker hull can be used with its own GNSS solution for manual towed measurements; alternatively, the drives can be installed to provide an unparalleled USV experience.

    Flow Scout

This versatile vessel is designed for shallower waters down to 14cm depth. It has three underwater thrusters with maximum speed of 1.8m/s, 0.8m/s lateral (sideways). Challenging conditions like windy areas or slow-moving channels, is not a problem for this vessel. It ensures ensuring reliable performance and precise data collection. The Surfbee App running on the handheld transmitter allows for advanced maneuvers and features an on-board camera. The Flow Scout is an excellent tool in both moving boat and Stationary measurements.

    Product Features:

    • Max speed: 1.8 m/s forward, 0.8 m/s lateral (sideways)
    • Minimum depth: 0.14m
    • Dimensions: 1.35m x 0.7m x 0.1m
    • Weight: 11kg (without batteries)
    • Long-range dust and spray proof transmitter (1km)
    • ADCP Surfbee App ADCP Gauging specific functions
    • Inflatable rugged hull for easy transportation and storage
    • Autonomous Bathymetry and mission setup via transmitter app Picture of Flow Scout

    Designed for High Reliability

The Flow Scout USV combines rugged performance with superior handling for your SonTek M9 and RS5 ADCP discharge and bathymetry measurements. It also handles Custom Payload as well as RDI RiverPro. It has a top speed of 1.8m/s and moves seamlessly both forward and sideways and adjusts to changing conditions without user intervention. The result is straight cross sectional lines easily collected by setting waypoints and allowing the vessel to take care of navigation.

    Advanced and Precise Boat Control

Take advantage of GPS autonomous gauging, allowing the Hydrographer to concentrate on the data not the deployment. Whether it is moving boat or stationary ADCP measurements using the SonTek M9 and RS5 ADCP, the Flow Scout USV allows for waypoint and boat speed setting through the Surfbee App running on the Handheld Transmitter colour screen ensuring reliable and consistent measurements.

    Safer and Improved Workflows

The Flow Scout USV presents field measurement teams with a safer way to conduct their work, however it also adds key functionality that improves ADCP data collection technique and thus data quality.

    Flexible Options

Both Differential Corrections and RTK GNSS options are offered with shared position data outputs between the USV and ADCP allowing for simplified amd streamlined work flows. The Flow Scout hull can be used with its onboard GNSS solution for manual towed measurements, alternatively install the thrusters for an unparalleled USV experience.

    Flow Finder

This vessel is designed specifically for Sontek RS5 deployment, taking advantage of the ADCP's new form factor and depth range. It offers superior shallow water performance, propelled by three underwater thrusters, and features autonomous lateral movement for unparalleled vessel control in difficult conditions, such as windy, slow-moving irrigation channels.
